Social Sciences Student Success

We provide drop-in and online instruction to students in social sciences courses on all processes related to research, writing, and presentation.

The School of Social Sciences offers courses in the following areas: Anthropology, Applied Behaviour Analysis, Criminology, Economics, Geography, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology and Women’s and Gender Studies. Students in these courses engage in a variety of activities that can be challenging for emerging scholars: planning a research paper, finding resources, conducting original research, organizing a paper or verbal presentation, writing, or providing references and citations.

The Social Sciences Student Success Instructor can help you with your research, assignments, and presentations.

We are located in the Library Learning Commons on the first floor of the library building.

Social Science Student Success Instruction will resume in September 2019.

In-person help is available on a drop-in basis at the times and place above. If you would like to make an appointment during this time, please contact the instructor by email.
